Jon Goin, PGA

Jon Goin grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia and started in the golf business in Phoenix in 1993. He met his wife at Oakwood Country Club, and they were married in 1997. The couple moved to Seattle where they lived from 1997-2001 working at two private golf clubs.

Jon joined the TPC Network in Las Vegas in June of 2001 and he and his wife moved to Memphis when he was promoted to Head Golf Professional at TPC Southwind in May 2003. Jon was Head Pro from 2003 to 2012 when he was promoted to General Manager. In 2018, he became the Director of Business Development at Spring Creek Ranch, and in May 2019, he purchased Timber Truss Golf Course.

Alan Hickam, PGA

Golf Professional
$80 per Hour | $50 per 1/2 Hour

Alan Hickam’s love for the game of golf began while playing with his father who would later caddy for him in some mini tour events. Alan has been in the golf business since 1992, where he decided to pursue a career in the golf industry and earned his PGA card in 1995. He was the PGA Head Golf Professional at North Creek Golf Course in Southaven, MS from 1998 – 2018. He joined Timber Truss in the spring of 2018 under the same role. He has been married to his wife Dolores since 1991 and has two children Phillip and Carla Kay who have both grown to love the game and play college golf.

Alan stays closely involved with the game by teaching the game to all levels of players ranging from beginners to elite golfers. He is proud to have so many of his students move on to the collegiate level to play.
